A Frightening Portrait of the World in a Violent Time is a collaboration album by American rappers K.B. & Lil' Flea, released in 1997 on X-Bam Records. It serves as the first release by the two outside of their group Street Military. Fellow Street Military members Pharoah and Icey Hott appear as featured artists, while Malek of Fakkulty and Klondike Kat also make guest appearances. The album is primarily produced by Danny Jackson and T-Mixx, although MJG and Scarface produce one track each.

The album was repressed in 1998 under the title Blood and Tears.
