AKA the Rugged Child is the debut studio album by American rapper Shyheim, released in April 19, 1994 on Virgin Records and EMI Records. Shyheim was just 14 years old when the album was released. It was produced almost entirely by RNS, with one song produced by RZA. It features guest appearances from various Wu-Tang Clan affiliates, particularly members of GP Wu.

The album peaked at #52 on the US Billboard 200, and #7 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts.
