2nd II None is an American hip hop duo from Compton, California. The group was formed in 1987 by cousins KK and Gangsta D. 2nd II None released their self-titled debut album in 1991, which achieved moderate commercial success and reached #83 on the Billboard 200. The group signed to Death Row Records, but their 1994 sophomore album, The Shit, was shelved by the label and not released officially until 2007. The group's third album, Classic 220, was released in 1999, but failed to match the success of their debut, only reaching #162 on the Billboard 200. 2nd II None's fourth album, Compton Muzik, was released in 2014 independently.
