Cedric White (born 1980), better known by his stage name 2 Low, is an American rapper from Houston, Texas, whom attended Hisd schools such as Dick Dowling middle school located in Houston Texas, Contemporary Learning Center (CLC), also in Houston Texas and James Madison High School. White signed to Rap-A-Lot Records in 1992 at the age of 12 and released his debut album, Funky Lil Brotha, the following year.
In 1995, White filed a suit against Rap-A-Lot Records in federal court, accusing the label and its executives of fraud, negligence, and breach of fiduciary duty. White claimed that the label had failed to pay him for performances, merchandise and the album Funky Lil Brotha. The case was settled outside of court in 1996 for an undisclosed amount.[1]
After a long period of inactivity, White returned in 2018 with the release of his second album, D Boy Chronicles.
