2 Black 2 Strong MMG was an American hip hop group from Manhattan, New York. The group was fronted by lead rapper 2 Black 2 Strong (born Johnny Marrs), who was accompanied by his group MMG (Mad Motherfucking Gangsters).[1]
2 Black 2 Strong MMG were the first hip hop group signed to Relativity Records. The group debuted in 1990 with the EP Burn Baby Burn, released on the Relativity imprint In-Effect, which had its release delayed when the pressing plant refused to produce it.[1] They were then moved to Relativity's main label and released their debut studio album, Doin' Hard Time on Planet Earth, in 1991. It was the group's final release.
