1st Class is the second full length studio album by American hip hop artist and producer Large Professor. It was released on October 8, 2002 through Matador Records. Recording sessions took place at Bang'n Studios and C Mo Greens Studio in Queens, New York from June 2000 to March 2001. Production was handled by Large Professor himself, J-Love, Hill, Inc., and Xplicit, with Kenneth Johnson serving as executive producer. It includes guest appearances from Nas, Q-Tip, Busta Rhymes and Akinyele.
The album peaked at #52 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and at #21 on both the Independent Albums and Heatseekers Albums charts in the United States. 1st Class spawned the singles: "Bout That Time" (which made it to #38 on the Hot Rap Songs) and "Radioactive" (which reached only at #43 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles Sales.
