19 Naughty III, is the second studio album by American Hip hop group Naughty by Nature. It was released on February 23, 1993 through Tommy Boy Records and Warner Bros. Recording sessions took place at Unique Recording Studios, Soundtrack Studios and Electric Lady Studios in New York City from February 1992 to January 1993. Production was handled entirely by group member Kay Gee himself, with additional production from S.I.D. Reynolds. It includes guest appearances from Heavy D, Queen Latifah, Freddie Foxxx and Rottin Razkals.
The album peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. 19 Naughty III released the hit singles: "Hip Hop Hooray", "It's On" and "Written on Ya Kitten" (which all reached #8, #74, and #93 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1, #43 and #53 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks). The album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), with selling over 1,000,000 copies in the United States.
